About Guy's Truck & Tractor Service

It all started in 1977 when Guy, working full-time for a LTL freight company, spent his nights turning wrenches to make ends meet. With one boy at home and a baby on the way, he took a leap of faith and started this company from the ground up. Beginning in a small one-bay shop—and armed with nothing more than skill, determination, and a commitment to doing things right—Guy’s Truck and Tractor Service was born.

That same spirit still drives us today.

Family-owned and operated since 1977, Guy’s Truck and Tractor Service has proudly served the tri-state area with reliable towing, recovery, and heavy-duty repair services. What started as a small family business in Kieler, Wisconsin, has grown into a trusted name across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa—now with two full-service locations in Kieler, WI and Galena, IL.

In 2024, Aaron, Ryan, and Ben took over the reins from their father, carrying forward the same hands-on leadership and customer-first service the company was built on. Later that year, Ryan’s son Max joined full-time, followed by Aaron’s son Riley in 2025—officially making Guy’s Truck and Tractor Service a third-generation family business with 35 employees.
